The breeding business is running at full speed

The breeding season for the Bearded Vultures began early in the year. In around 40 zoos and five specialized breeding stations, which form the network of the international breeding programme for Bearded Vultures, 20 chicks have already hatched. This pleasing figure means that there are probably enough young birds to be able to release Bearded Vultures again in Switzerland.

The pair of Bearded Vultures, Hans and Masha from the Natur- und Tierpark Goldau, will again be raising a young chick this year. This can be watched live via webcam: Webcam Natur- und Tierpark Goldau>>
